The best movie musical ever.
Fantastic! Should win Oscars for the three leads and for best picture!
very good screen version, although i thought that gerard butler was miscast as the phantom - the role called for a stronger, darker voice to match the character...however, i did enjoy it, and would recommend it highly
I would take the Phantom, Gerry, as my own......
This movie was sooo cheesy.
AMAZING!! I still loved the live theater version more, but this comes too close to 2nd to measure. It touched me just as much as the live version, without the feeling live singing gives you. It makes me want to see it live again.
Repackaged garbage!
OMG , AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING..I LOVED IT, the phantom was Gorgeous, i wanna go see it again, if u havent already seen it, what are u waiting for? you won`t regret it , even if ur not a fan, it doesn`t matter, i wasn`t a fan either, but after the seeing the movie, i`m completly drawn to the whole theme..go do urself a favor, and see it..
This is a powerful theatre version! Bravo, Bruckheimer!! I can`t believe that Butler isn`t up for `Best Actor`. His performance leaves the audience wondering why Christine chose Raoul. The movie was so compelling, I went out the next day to purchase the book. I completed it withing 6 days, gathered my children together and took them to see it. They`re 16, 14, and 12 - all thoroughly enjoyed it and recommended it to their friends. Now that`s something isn`t it? Three teens who loved a hollywood version of an opera! My daughter wants to see it again and insists on paying the way this time. The set is breathtaking, the performances - stellar.
I have seen the movie twice now and have the CD and waiting for the DVD...It is absolutely haunting. The quality of the acting ..scenery was fabulous and of couse the music riveting...
