Interview with Julia Roberts and Bradley Cooper (Valentine's Day)
Valentine's Day is the latest romantic comedy from director Garry Marshall. The film features a star-studded cast, all of whom have intertwining stories of the heart that take place over the course of one Valentine's Day.
Marshall, who directed Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman and Runaway Bride, convinced the reclusive actress to take a role in this film. She plays an on-leave army officer named Kate, a passenger on a flight from Iraq to Los Angeles. Her seatmate is a man named Holden, played by Bradley Cooper. Over the course of the flight the two get to know each other quite well, but each one is harboring a secret that is bringing them home to a loved one for Valentine's Day.
Tribute's Bonnie Laufer spoke with Julia and Bradley in Los Angeles about the film and found out why their chemistry was instantaneous, how they really feel about Valentine's Day and why it's an honor and a privilege to work with master director Garry Marshall.
