Interview with Greg Kinnear (Green Zone)
Matt Damon reunites with his Bourne director Paul Greengrass for the new action thriller Green Zone. Set in Baghdad, Damon portrays Roy Miller, a warrant officer who helps a senior CIA officer in the search for weapons of mass destruction. Miller is based on real-life Army chief warrant officer Richard (Monty) Gonzales, whose Mobile Exploitation Team was charged with finding WMDs during the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Oscar-nominated actor Greg Kinnear stars in the film as a government official who's trying to cover up serious and misleading information. His character clashes with Damon's, which makes for some pretty intense screen time between the two actors.
Tribute's Bonnie Laufer spoke with Kinnear in New York about being "mean" to Matt Damon, working on a Greengrass movie and how he's finally scored brownie points with his young daughters by playing Miley Cyrus' father in his upcoming movie The Last Song.
