Great actors, terrible story line.
A silly funny comedy. Great night of entertainment.
I'm not quite sure what to say about this movie--Jack Black played classic Jack Black and Michael Cera played every other character he has played. I had high expectations from a Harold Ramis movie but it somehow fell a little short. Was it the subject matter? The religion references were a little lost on me. Was it trying too hard to be a sort of Monty Python's Life of Brian? The best actors for me by far, were Hank Azaria and David Cross--both too underappreciated by Hollywood. Still, all in all, not a bad movie.
This was a terrible movie. All the good parts were in the trailer and the rest was just filler. They tried way too hard to make this work and it just fell flat. Not worth the money.
rather disappointing but it did have some funny moments.
There definitely was some funny parts in the movie. Then some parts we were looking at each other like what? Some weird humor in there. All in all it was a pretty good comedy.
We enjoy our opportunities from Tribute to attend new movies but we were glad that we hadn't paid for last night's movie. It was okay but it struggled to be funny and was a waste of Michael Cera's talent. Juno it wasn 't. It might appeal to a much younger crowd but we knew someone there with their grandson (14)and he said it was "Okay - not too good" Maybe you need to appreciate Jack Black's humour and yet his best movie was King Kong.
Classic Jack Black, irritating. Cera is funny, lots of stars
Funny!!
What we expected! It was kind of silly but with a story line that made some comical sense. There were times Black was too silly or overboard losing some humour.
