For those complaining about capitalizing on tradgedy, I`d suggest you check out the official movie site, where you will find that for the opening, Aug 9-13 10% of all ticket sales from all theatres in the US went to 4 separte World Trade Centre Charities. That`s commendable. I haven`t seen the movie yet, but probably will. If anything, it serves to "humanize" the tragedy. It also serves as a reminder for us not to forget.

My husband and I saw `World Trade Center` the other night. At the end of the movie, you could have heard a pin drop. Movies are made out of tragedies like 911, and the first and second world war,and the assasination of John F. Kennedy, for a very good reason: This is how, as humanity we make sense of the chaos in our world. Oliver Stone did a tremendous job of bringing one of the 911`s countless mcidents to life for us. I really believe that the message is that we must not forget but also that even the most painful circumstances are not without bravery, endurance, love and even - yes - a joyous ending.

I thought they did a good job of concentrating on the events following the attack, showing how citizens came together & not the actual attack

world trade center - 8/10 Alright this is probably the hardest movie I would ever have to rate. The movie was preaty good but its one that I wish I did not see. Like while watching it, I was anxious and in a way emotionally uncomfortable. To watch something, in your own way you lived through, it was kind of nerve racking. But the movie showed a good message to me that wasnt shown in the movie. It showed how demoralized the new generation is. I was probably the youngest person in the theater of about, probably 60. By the end of the movie, when they are showing the facts about the amount of fatalities, about 70% of them were in tears. Where
