Bravo to the men and women who went into the buildings to save the innocents at the World Trade Center. A Sad story about a couple of Port Authority police officers. A touching and enlightening truth to this movie.

Because of the tradgedy of 9/11 I thought the movie would be more heart wrenching. But, I found because of the lack of story behind each of the two main characters, the movie was not what I had expected it to be. The acting on the part of Nick Cage was good, but not fantastic.

Since this happened on my birthday, I had to go and see it. It brought back all the feelings of the actual day it happened. I think the police and firefighter deserve more credit than this movie gives. We all know in our hearts that they are the heros here (no matter what).

Some parts of the movie were realistic and kept the viewer interested. However, I was disappointed by the portrayal of what was accomplished by the Port Authority Police. They were portrayed as just getting themselves organized to respond to the crisis. I was stunned that the police were not guiding people out of the buildings! How realistic was that? The portrayal of the two officers` survival is amazing though.
