Saw the movie last night. A bit disappointing, but I realize the book is difficult to condense into two hours on screen. As a fan of the books, I would still like to see more of them on the big screen and hope they can pull it together for next time. It is great to see the characters in front of your face.
just like the book.
This movie was a huge dissappointment. I knew the movie wouldnt be as good as the book going in but this was bad...really bad...so bad we left .
I read and loved all the books. I saw the movie last night; and it just didn’t do it. Great cast, great location - but the story got lost. You didn't see the relationship between Alice and Bella at all. The Cullen’s house was all wrong. Bella’s room was too small and no rocking chair?! It would have been cool if you could hear the thoughts Edward was hearing. The high school kids were too juvenile. Edward’s reaction to Bella in the bio lab was comical. This material would have been better presented as a mini series on TV. I think fans would love it even more if they could have seen the story told in 6 to 8 hours, rather then packed into two-hours. Sad. I was hoping for Harry Pott
This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It had the worst acting imaginable and the worst representation of vampires possible. Most people in the theatre for the midnight showing were actually laughing during the serious scenes due to the sheer lack of acting ability
HAHAHAHAHA! Oh god, this was was such a horrible movie. The acting, the directing, the music ... everything. But highly entertaining BECAUSE of its badness. Watch it for the enjoyment of making fun of it, if nothing else.
Amazing Movie!!! Although I pretty much expectes the movie to slightly deviate from the book, and it did. But still, the movie was great on its own! Kristen Stewart and Nikki Reed ar HOT!!!!
Terrible-don't see it if you are a fan of the books. I walked out! Bad acting, worse direction really, really low budget. The heat from the books just wasn't there. It was awkward, cheesy and nothing like the book.
Well done! It isn't exactly like the book. There is no way a whole novel can fit into a two hour movie. Everyone who loved the books will have opinions on which scenes should have been included, which actors did or didn't do their character justice, etc but all of that aside, as a movie it is definitely worth the trip to the theatre to see it. I will be going again!
The movie didn't hit all the points in the book but then again how can you. Bella has a constant conversation with herself thru out the book and that is hard to portray. I saw the movie last night and I thought it was a smash hit.
