You can't rate a movie when you have only read the book! This movie was not a good one. If you have not read the books then you feel like you have walked into it half way through and are trying to catch up with the sloppy plot that has no continuity! Also, my sister loves the books and she hated the movie! The acting was awful! I can see how the books would be good but the movie just is not!

Loved it! Not as good as the book but the movies never are...looking forward to the sequels. Everyone did a great job in it and brought their own interpretation of the character into the movie.

Good books should not be turned into movies! Its was a HOT MESS! i understand that you can't actually film the book, but still...I strongly STRONGLY believe that you should read the book/series before to have a better understanding of the movie. HECK! I read the whole series and i was STILL confused at parts. It was jumpy from scene to scene, and did not flow well. And the actors, oh the actors...better luck next time!

All around loved it, just a little upset with the way the layed out some of the events of the book. They didnt happen in the movie the same way they happened in the book.

I saw the movie last night, sure it wasn't the book, but it is by far one of the best book to movie adaptations I have ever seen! The style of filming is something i haven't really seen before, and i thought it went well with the concept of the story. The actors and actresses were right on for me, i truly enjoyed it! :D

I was so dissapointed after sitting in line from 1:30 to sve spots for me and friends. It was not worth the wait in fact I wish I hadn't seen it at all. Nothing seemed right there wasn't enough relationship evolution and their face expressions for both bella and edward seemed so wrong part of the time... especially in bio he looks like he's going to throw up! that is not how it was supposed to be he was just supposed to act like he hated her not that he wanted to throw up on her!!!! If there are more I'm not seeing them unless I hear they are 10 times better! I loved Jacob he was great! This was definitely a dissappointment.

I liked the movie, to be honest. I'm an extreme perfectionist, and a huge fan of the books, since before they became popular. They did fairly well on the movie - it's hard to condense all of the detail in the book into a two-hour movie, but it was well done for a movie with a small budget. I liked the actors - some of the acting was a bit awkward, but not as terrible as some acting I've witnessed, being an actor myself. I would like to see how they handle a second one, to be honest. They might have a better budget for the secnod one too. In my opinion, it could have been a bit longer, maybe three hours like Lord of the Rings, because you get so caught up in the story that you don't realize h

I don't want to see roots on perfect beings...Rosalie & Carlisle. Get new hair people for the next one!

saw the movie last night.. chemistry wasn't there(awkward) the simple relationship of edward and bella wasnt really there. I hope when they get enough money for the 2nd movie to really explain everything and develope more of a relationship between bella and the cullens
