good movie but unless you are a baseball fan, you will understand the movie more.
great sports movie, actors across the board all give great performances. timberlake adds some great charm as usual, and eastwood plays his usual grumpy character, but still manages to give a solid performance. all in all just a very enjoyable flick.
great movie. i loved clint's acting and amy's strong performance. it was a moving story of a troubled father and daughter relationship and is suitable for all ages.
fun movie to watch with a great story line and just enough sappy moments. the ending was a little too predictable but allen all, worth the watch!
the movie itself was good. it showed clint eastwood in a different role as it was a different movie for him to do; however, it was a little slow, but it was interesting how they scout for baseball players as it showed behind the scenes so to speak of another side of baseball that we didn't know. we gave it 2.5 kernels out of 5.
slow at the beginning but picked up about 1/3 of the way through. could have had a bit more of clint's grumpy humour. the movie was somewhat predictable, i spotted the twist very early in the movie. the person who directs clint the best, is clint. this is no grand torino, but overall it was an enjoyable movie.
an inspiring and entertaining story for a sports movie.
fabulous acting. great story line.
the acting was top notch, as was the movie, up until the last 15 minutes when it went off into something else. all together i would recommend that people go see this film. b+
every time clint is on the screen, he captivates your attention. i'm a fan of baseball and i enjoyed seeing behind the scenes involved with the sport i don't think about.
