This was the worst movie of the summer! M. Night Shyamalan owes me 120 minutes of my life back! It was slow and the acting was absolutely horrible. And the story was soooo lame. The only good thing that I can say about this mindless dribble was the acting by Ron Howards daughter was excellent. Save your money!!
Not the best of M. Night`s films. I thought the movie was slow and didn`t have enough suspense. As an M. Night Shyamalan fan, i was kinda dissapointed, but the cast was great!
This Movie really disappointed me.
An awesome movie! An amazing message! This movie makes you think what the world is all about!
Great Movie, Good Twists, The director made excellent points about everyday living today, all morals and respect for one another are not what they used to be, they should show this film in school. Think alot of people can learn from it!
I had higher hopes for Shyamalan`s new movie The Village. It`s still worth seeing and if you`re any astute observer of the world, societies and governments you`ll see some hidden truth to a lot of what happens in the movie. And that, of course, will add to your enjoyment of it. If you`re looking for a thriller or action movie, this is not that kind of movie. Still, it`s a good movie, but the Director could`ve done more with his resources and talent.
It wasn`t wat i expected.. i found it boring..
A different kind of pacing , an unforseen ending and a really nice love story.
Not that bad of a movie. I really liked it up until the twist. Signs still has to be the best Shyamalan movie yet.
Too intelligent for mindless slasher fans - a classic suspense piece that lets the imagination to its stuff, as Jaws first did in the 1970`s. It all works except the story itself could have climaxed earlier to then deal further with the dilemma faced by the main characters when revelation strikes. It surprised me in being well thought through and quite original, for a change. If you like horror, teen killer flicks or even action drama - this will dissapoint. If you like a great short story with both tension and surprise jolts on film, enjoy.
