Cage is good. A good ride for the money.

The movie is ok. Nicholas Cage makes the movie, he's wonderful. But JAY BARUCHEL is brutal, probably the worst actor of this decade. His character never develops even in the end he's no better than the whiny schmuk that he started out as. I felt actual pain inside myself watching him. Hopefully he won't be in any new movies anytime soon. Really this is a rental there is nothing worth spending 7 - 12 dollars over. Cheers

Not a bad movie, but not great...for adults. Young teens may like it more. I think they should have had the main character stay 10 years old, and directed it more to that age. The special effects are amazing and there is a lot of them, that made me give the movie one more star than it may have deserved. The story is good enough, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if I was 15 or younger.

Great story of magic and mystery. My son and I trully enjoyed this movie but I won't recommed to younger kids as some scenes may be scary for them.

Entertaining...with a good sense of humour but I considered it a rental. I would not have paid full price for this movie.

Enjoyable movie, Nicolas Cage goes a good job here. The main character (his apprentice) had a few good lines but I had a hard time connecting with him. Effects are great, the chase scene was cool, the underlying connection to Merlin was interesting. The young love scenes where at times cheesy; maybe reminiscent of what young love is. Worth seeing on the Big Screen.

A decent movie, but not great. Not as much a kid's movie as you might think.
