With this new movie it's obvious that Ben Stiller is trying to create his own niche. It's not a comedy or a drama or a romantic comedy or a road movie and his character grows more mature. It's the same structure we saw in Tower Heist. Good for him! Creating a new way of doing things, nowadays, it's no easy enterprise, no matter if you are Ben Stiller. This movie has hilarious moments and deeply reflexive ones. The chemistry between his character and Kristen Wiig's is moving. At the same time, the plot addresses a real, common situation, about media companies getting smaller and letting people go, but it also shows how it is possible to survive that situation. I really enjoyed it.
Fantastic job!! Really good movie!
Ben Stiller as his best! A must see movie of the holiday.
Excellent movie for the season. Great scenery. Enjoy the movie 100%.
Absolutely wonderful movie! The trailer eludes that it is more of a typical comedy...it is much more than that! It has it's moments where it definitely is funny, but it is also touching! Well done!!
I enjoyed the movie - great actors , good story Line and interesting landscape scenes in the good. Thoughtful and funny movie
Well written script and a nicely directed movie.
I was not what I expected going in to the movie. My daughter and I really enjoyed and we will by the DVD/Blu Ray when it comes out. For us to buy the DVD/Blu ray says it all. I do not buy many and only ones that are worth watching over again.
This was a wonderful escape, easy to relate to and very enjoyable. Two thumbs up.
Personally I loved this movie. Don't fully understand why it is taking such a bashing from film critics. Is it Zoolander? No. Did I expect that heading into the screening based on the trailers? No. The movie is beautifully done. I'd easily recommend it to my family and friends as a movie to see in theatres.
