I just got to have to say that this movie is by far the best movie i`ve seen in years. In fact, it is my favorite movie of all time!

This was an amazing movie. At first i couldn`t really see Tom Cruise as a Samurai. The role didnt quite fit him. But i heard that this movie was good. I went to se it not expecting much. But this is one of the best movies i`ve ever seen.

REALLY REALLY great movie, deserves some oscars here! it had some great themes & nice and very overwhemlming action scenes. not a moment of boredom, made 2.5h seem like 1.5h. the acting was wonderful and the scenery was so amazing. the only problem was that it wasn`t entirely realistic, so it would help if you didn`t know a lot about samurai and that way you would enjoy the movie even more. this is a MUST SEE!!

A truly moving experience. The transition from enemy to prisoner to Samurai was overwhelming. One of the greatest films I have ever seen.

The absolut best part of this movie is feeling part of the Japanese culture, the sense of devotion and belief that is shared by this culture comes through. At the same time Cruise certainly has not managed to grasp the depth of his character, I think he should take a break and reflect on how to become a good actor and maybe then he can hope that he lives long enough to become a great actor. Maybe!
