A very touching character study. The acting by the three principals (Firth, Rush and Bonham-Carter) is Oscar-worthy. This is an engrossing film. Firth proves himself yet again to be one of the finest actors today.

Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush are great in their respective roles. The evolution of their friendship and mutual respect for each other comes alive on screen. It's a surprisingly moving story written with wit and intelligence.

One of the best acted movies of the year. Laughed out loud several times and got choked up just as often. Highly recommend this movie.
