I'll be honest, I went into this movie not expecting much. It is not the genre I would typically enjoy, but I was very pleasantly surprised. I had a hard time taking my eyes off the screen and the story itself was very disturbing from a human rights point of view. The story was portrayed so well that I actually felt like I was a part of it. Overall, very impressed! Even though I was dragged out to see it, I was glad I went.

I was really intrigued with this movie. It gave me a look at how things were back then and they brought back an important piece of history. I'm giving this movie 4 stars. It was really good and I loved it but i'd have loved to have seen what happened after Aibleen got fired. I wish the movie was a little longer.
