People - save your $ and your time! This is a waste of both. The only thing worth mentioning is the excellent CG effects (polar bears). This is not a kids movie, very hard to understand what is actually going on. The plot is scattered and little to no character development. I was actually looking forward to seeing this movie, and wow, what a disappointment! Some people in the theatre actually booed at the end. Obviously a lot people feel the same way. I cant believe they are going to do a sequel!
Excellent movie ! Very entertaining ! Nicole Kidman is fantastic in this movie !
Very very disappointing. The movie doesn't live up to all it's hype. The story had potential, but in the end there was no character development, no depth or anything else to make you even care about what is going on onscreen. Maybe it's ok for the kids since the visuals were decent, other than that a huge waste of money and time. This movie gets 1 star....and only because there is no option for 0 stars!
Movie sucks big time!
This movie has to be one of the work movies that I have ever seen. I can't believe anyone would give this movie 5 star. Just a bunch of crap from beginning to end.
This movie SUCKS!!! I wish I could get my money back!
Decent, defenetly worth a watch. I'm not religious but wow, I can defently see why all the religous peeps are soo ticked off.
I expected more, since the trailer was all hyped up! (They show the best parts during the trailer) The acting was alright. The polar bear was the best! CG effects were amazing. Enchanted is a better movie by far.
Where were the protesters of Narnia? It says alot about your state of mind when you feel threatened by a 2 hour fantasy film. People sure are secure in their beliefs i see. Anyone who knows anything about the books and Phillip Pullman knows this trilogy was never about "killing the idea of god." But how religon when mixed with politics corrupts so greatly. Not a bad movie at all, excellent animation and perfect casting. Just very watered down from the book.
Great Movie, worth the money.
