It was not as good as I expected but I expected alot.
Enjoyed the `flashbacks` - liked the way they were done; enjoyed the way the movie followed the book. Thumbs up!
Excellent job by Hanks. Suspence filled-controversial.
Having read the intriguing book by Dan Brown I had to see the movie. I was pleased to see it followed the book fairly closely. The story was gripping and interesting. I had a hard time picturing Tom Hanks as Langdon but he did a good job. Audrey Tatou was very good, as was Paul Bettany as Silas. Jean Reno is always a great actor. The scenery was fantastic. A great work of fiction by Dan Brown has become a great movie.
I loved it! Captured the spirit of the book and my attention.
It was good .. stayed with the book for the most part, cut out pieces where it had to. Didn`t like a few character changes.
It was awesome! I`m glad I didn`t read the book first, as I didn`t have preconceived ideas of what the characters would be like.
i thought the Da Vinci Code was a very enlightning film based on the catholic religion over all. The Da Vinci Code painted a very different picture from the teaching that we learn and come to except in our every day religion that i am part of. I would have to say the Da Vinci Code made perfect sense and actually told catholics what the real version of the Holy Grail really was. I thought the movie was wonderfully done.
I thought Tom Hanks was excellent and the movie was riviting!
Good one, makes you think...not a bad movie to see.
