Pretty good but not as good as I expected, hearing all the hype about it.

the book was better

Fairly entertaing, but Having read the book, I thought Tom Hanks was miscast. Character should have een younger, maybe Clive Owen or Eric Bana?

OVERRATED IT WAS NOT A BAD MOVIE BUT LEFT ALOT MORE QUESTION THAN ANSWERS ABOUT THE DA VINCI CODES.IT SURE DID NOT EFFECT MY FAITH IN ANY WAY

Clever, insightfull, thought provoking and definitely controversial, yet poignant in it`s approach to a deeply private matter

It was an okay movie. the book was much better. don`t think i would have been able to follow the movie if i didn`t read the book first.

Great Movie

User rating: June 2, 2006

The movie was pretty good. The book was better. But a book is always better. I think they did as well as they could. Most of the story line is in the movie. It could`ve moved faster and Tom Hanks was too much of a passive Robert Langdon but the rest of the cast was great. Paul Bettany as Silas was excellent. Jean Reno was great too and Audrey Tattou was pretty good too. Go see it and judge for yourself.

The movie followed the novel fairly well, but did not have the intensity the book seemed to convey. Solid performances, but not as exciting as it could have been. You will enjoy.
