i took my parent to see this movie; they had fun , it is clean comedy with a good story
the movie was a waste of my time and money. the story was dull and mind-numbing. it was hard to believe, that a group of fairly intelligent individuals (seniors) from uk, would buy a ticket to india to find out the advertisment was a scam. i couldn't find any wit or humor, therefore i didn't get value for my money and consider the movie another scam.
excellent! this movie both touches the heart and enlightens with comedy....with very british wit.
enjoyed it
maggie smith is superb. lots of laughs but i think this movie is best enjoyed by seniors.
amazing journey of old age.
if this is what it's like to get old, bring it on! the cast of flighty seniors are having a bang up good time with each finding enlightenment once they experience their new digs in india. how can you not love bill nighy who morphs from a spineless "nice" guy to an adventurous explorer, never losing his sense of humor? i love the juxstapositioning of serious and humorous life experiences. it's upbeat and overall the best film i've seen for years.
a few laughs but generally slow and methodical. the older generation may relate to the movie but would hardly be excited by it.
oh best movie i have seen in a long long time and i saw the avengers too. if you're a boomer it will make you lol and cry too...very life affirming and deep and light hearted at the same time..a must see ..i'd see it again
this was one of the best feel good movies i've seen in a long time. it hits every aspect of life including aging, depression, loneliness, financial ruin, meeting new people in a totally foreign area even being gay people....go see it!
