5 star acting/4 star writing/5 star visuals. really enjoyed this movie with such a wonderful cast in this exotic locale. the writing could've been better but i enjoyed the various story lines and with these actors the material was elevated to the max. i'd like to see more movies being made like this.

excellent!! a feast of the senses. first rate script and a cast that delivers the overall theme to perfection. i thought maggie smith's character is the best developed; from one of a generally dislikeable person to one you can genuinely warm up to. a must see...

it was fun to visit india during the movie. so beautiful and exotic even though it is terribly busy and in need of cleansing and repair. the story i found a little slow and uninteresting. i would have liked to have seen more comedy out of the seniors.

i was sad when the movie ended. i truly related to these characters, and some of them didn't get what they thought they wanted, they were all better off by the end.
