this movie presented a wonderful story about uk seniors in a brilliantly colourful backdrop, india. i cared about the characters and their stories, and loved the first rate acting from all. saw this movie twice, second time with my dad, who also loved it.
uplifting, funny, what we have to look forward to as seniors.....
fabulous actors in a seemingly light story which somehow moves you more than you'd think.
wonderful to see great veteran actors in a colourful and expressive film which proffers great wisdom about becoming a"senior citizen."
great to see some of britian's greatest senior actors perform together. very touching story with good character development.
this was a very funny movie with beautiful scenery of the true india. the actors were all amazing and the story really touched my heart. it's the kind of movie i could see over and over again and leave with a skip in my step.
excellent movie. great for seniors too.
excellent!
fantastic and unique movie.
this movie is so true to life...the characters and the various circumstances that each one finds themselves in...anyone that has a parent that has retired can relate to this movie. i cannot express in words all the different emotions i felt while watching the movie and all the parallels in my own personal life it exposed. it defintely left me more aware, sensitive and sympathetic about how i will handle my retired parents and any retired person i might come across in life. i feel changed in some way after watching this beautifully written and acted movie. my best movie for the year.
