I thoroughly enjoyed the movie! It was great and visually appealing. The casting of Brandon Routh and Kate Bosworth were perfect. They did a fantastic job in bringing the characters to life and providing depth to these characters. I applaud them very much. Kudos also to Kevin Spacey and Parker Posey for their performances. I was a little hesitant about Kevin being Lex Luthor when I saw him in the trailers but when I saw the movie, he was way better than I expected. He gave a great performance. Bravo! Thanks to Bryan Singer for giving us a great movie! Congrats to all the cast and crew for an outstanding job. Great CG effects!
I thought the movie was done very well, the new improved outfit was also in my opinion a very good touch. I liked the fact that they used someone who wasnt very well known, and Kevin Spacey as lex luthor was a very good choice.
This was such an amazing movie!!! Brandon Routh and Kate Bosworth did such a good job! I thought the music was amazing. At the end, i got a bit confused but maybe Bryan Singer will do a sequel. Who knows what lies in with the man of steel.I also think Bryan Singer did the right choice to drop out of X-Men 3 because this movie was amazing!Superman`s hot! =) 5/5
If you loved comics, this is it. great movie, effects great, probably the best one so far. And to top it off black costume spiderman trailer
Very good movie, Best when viewing in I-Max
Superman Returns assumes the appalling 80`s sequels Superman 3 and Superman 4 never took place, and picks up following the events of Superman 2. In that film, starring the late Christopher Reeve and the might-as-well-be late Margot Kidder, Kal-El erased Lois`s memory of their consummation and vanquished the three Kryptonian villains. Now, Superman returns to Earth after spending five years in space needlessly trying to find himself. This plot point is one of the most misguided ideas ever to come out of Hollywood. Those involved are clearly unaware and ignorant of the Superman mystique which has evolved over the last six decades. By saddlin
i saw the 3d movie, its only 4 scene that only convert into 3d movie, its supposed to be convert the whole movies. i enjoy the special effect, way2 far than the original christopher reeve superman movie. At last, i can see the superman fly more alive than ever before not just with the wire and background. but the story kinda slow , but i like the posey, she`s good. but for the lex luthor , i still prefer gene hackman. also , i like the suit too, its updated. not too yellow and red, and i like the pattern on the S symbol on his chest.
very good but still prefer christopher reeve in the title role.
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Out and out fun and entertainment. I get somewhat tired of special effects in movies as I think they are over-done and often cheesy. Not this flick...awsome effects. A little long, but having said that, it was tolerable. GO SEE IT! Actors are also well cast. Parker Posey is excellent.
This was a brilliant movie. Far better than I thought it was going to be. Dragged to it by my six year old son, I found myself getting into the story. Yes, there are heartpounding SFX scenes, but the best parts are where Superman/Kent is trying to pickup the pieces of a life he left behind 5 years ago. The actor, Routh, plays the part well, his facial expressions when he sees that the world went on fine without him are great. The first hours builds upon the question, "does the world need superman?", and if not, what is supermans purpose and did Jor-El err in sending him to earth? Well, the second half answers that question! Here`s hopi
