Leave the kids at home.
Very disappointed. Lots of bad language and some dark and disturbing scenes.
this started great. I thought wow next great Christmas movie. BUTT wrong. It had a lot of adult stuff in it. And a lot of scary stuff too. They did such a good job I thought it must be for kids. BUTT the beach scenes, witchcraft, dark characters and unnecessary language ruined that. For adults it was okay, funny, a bit much with the dark side. Confusing. They should have made 2 different movies. The ending was good but for me it was not worth all the junk and I am SO GLAD I did NOT take my grandson.
I don't know who told anyone this movie is for kids, or that you didn't see anything dark in the trailer. And Christians better believe there is darkness out there. I LOVED this movie. The acting was great, as was the story line. I liked all the details of how Christmas works. It was so much fun, entertaining and funny (The Rock is funny!) I cried at the amazing tender scene at the end, A great message about Redemption, and that there is always hope for conversion, and 2nd chances . It's never too late to do the right thing. Worth seeing a 2nd time. Bravo!
Can't go wrong with the Rock. It was also refreshing to see a lively Mrs Claus with important things to do, too. She's usually given a back seat standing around waiting for Santa to get all the glory. Good role modeling.
This movie being geared toward children is a lie! There is no need to use fowl language in a movie for children. Using a word also for a man's private is ridiculous! I am sorry we went to see this movie, it is disgusting. It would of been a fun movie if the curse words were not used! Also the under world was a little much. Also the beach swim wear is not for children!
A great light movie, seems like a kid's movie but I think it was written for Adult's who are children at heart. Not for little tykes!
