Decent story that could have been a good family movie, but it isn't. Not good enough to be anything else, though. Multiple times used profanity, showed several scenes with women wearing thong bikinis showing side boob. Definitely for older teens at minimum. Action was marvel-style, but even Marvel movies leave out the inappropriate language and gratuitous female body displays. It feels like it is intended to normalize these themes to pre-teens to further sink the culture.
Good family movie. I strongly suggest
My wife and I were watching this (to see if our kids could watch it too), and she said the same thing, I was thinking, this is different. She thought the kidnapper would be Jack Frost. Nope. Obvious hints to a mythical world series if sequels if they get the green light. If you don't go into it with expectations and just watch for fun, it does have a few laughs and some action. J.K. Simmons as Santa, I was like nummmm he doesn't look fat at all, then his workout scene we were like ohhhhhhh good for him. The Rock doesn't need to be all moody though.
Not really a kid's movie. Great special effects. I enjoyed it very much.
Don't believe the negative reviews. The movie was inventive and interesting. Not a bad Xmas movie. Better than all those abysmal marvel movies
Dumb movie. Should have seen something else.
Hollyweird is getting worse and worse with all the fake animals talking and odd sH!t they put in it. I mean WHO can LAUGH when it's so UNREAL it's worthless. They keep trying the same tactics which is so disappointing. WHEN WILL they finally get it, WE ARE BOARD with this CRAP!
We laughed so much we (several not-young ladies) thought we'd get booted out. Familiar references used properly, good acting, a plot fair enough to get lost in. Good fun to leave you smiling in these dark times.
So dumb.
It was refreshing , and unique. The characters had a real sense about them!
