Questionable casting choices (other than Jennifer Aniston who was surprisingly good) but still worth seeing...especially for dog lovers
very sad but very touching i would see it again
it was just so emotionally crippling that i dont think i can even look at my dog again. it got me thinking so much that i just - tears - couldnt ..,. OMG. this is too much!!
For animal lovers it was an awesome movie, however, if you're not a big fan of dogs like I am, Jen & Owen were brilliant and it further convinced me to never get a dog!!
First 30 minutes were a comedy, then drama with pointless sadness mixed into it. Boring after first half hour. Should have gone straight to video.
not what I was expecting. But a great movie overall. Very touching, and heartwarming. A little longer then necessary, but well worth a look.
A really wonderful movie that left me bawling in the theatre and constantly drying my eyes. I did not expect to be so emotionally affected by the story but it was one that I could relate with. The level of acting by Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston was surprisingly high and completely altered what I thought of them as actors. Their performances were convincing and the dynamic between the two was so natural and unforced. A heartfelt story that captures the strong bond between pet and owner but also relational bonds between people. Highly recommended.
it was a good movie
this movie was one I wasn't really interested in seeing but the person I went with wanted to see it so I agreed. I was pleasantly surprised and moved by it. great acting by jennifer and owen
I just loved it! The book was better (as usual)but the movie was great! Very funny in parts, but totally heartbreaking and very real - I know, I've been there...
