Great movie for dog lovers, we all see our dog in Marley.... really enjoyed it.
Definitely not a kid's movie, being mostly about marital dynamics and the effects of children on a marriage. The first half was fun, and then it became deadly serious. The scene at the second visit to the vet was drawn out w-a-y too long and was clearly included mainly to hype up the pathos, which I found to be manipulative. All that said, for the most part this is a decent adult film that will appeal to men and women equally.
Please people, stop with the weak, victim mentality just because it's based on real life and not some "feel good" superficiality. Cry a little once in a while - it's part of what makes us human!!! "HELLO"!!!
this was a decent movie for an hour...maybe marley ate the second half of the script and they had to come up with something fast!
this movie was surprisingly good. Both funny and sad. watch it :))))))))
I went into the movie expecting a chick flick, however, this movie is a combination of a comedy/romance/family. Both Owen and Jennifer played amazing roles, this movie was phenomenal, I absolutely loved it! But it was very sad near the ending, so remember to take kleenex!
DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS TO THIS!!! False advertising for "comedy" and "family" movie. Good movie, but it has extreme sadness which will leave your child very upset to unconsoleable. I had to leave with my young daughters.. it was just too much. SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN ADVERTISED AS A FAMILY MOVIE. Look at the ad - cute puppy?, VERY decieving. If you're a dog lover, and like sad stories, this one is for you, but don't take kids. Please - for their sake.
Was so much more then I thought it was going to be!!! Loved it.
BOSS MOVIE.......... will love to have a dog like that
WOW!!
