I highly recommend this movie. Sandra Bullock is great in this movie. This is her best performance to date. George Clooney plays a distant second.

The best film I saw. The scenario his real. The play of the stars his magic.

This creative and carefully made film is a total surprise for audiences who expect the characters played by Sandra Bullock and George Clooney to follow a Hollywood romance in space formula. Sandra Bullock knock us out of the air with her performance as the cautious Dr. Ryan Stone while George Clooney charmingly and playfully leads us on with a Buzz Lightyear impersonation of the all-American astronaut. Bullock’s Oscar-worthy performance as a genius engineer who undergoes a spiritual rebirth while everything around her spirals out of control, is heightened by Emmanuel Luezski’s cinematography and Alfonso Cuaron’s sensitive direction.

Amazing visual effects combined with believable situations is what makes this a truly unique film. George Clooney and Sandra Bullock deliver in the roles of their lifetimes. They easily make you believe that they actually are out there, in space. This movie manages to make the dream of going to space a nightmare for you (so be warned)! The story is fairly simple; two astronauts must survive with limited time and oxygen while avoiding the debris headed for them. Everything in this movie works well, from the pacing to the action sequences. The soundtrack was also very tense and gripping! My only complaint with the film is the ending, which made me suspend my belief about astronauts and gravity

This movie is all that, cinematic and breathtaking. Clooney and Bullock are masters of their profession and deliver stunning scenes full of drama and flair. A+++ must go see in IMAX.
