The eerie cold alienation of space is captivating in this film starring Clooney and Bullock. Although, deemed as unrealistic by Chris Hadfield and the likes of NASA professionals, it is a film that holds your attention from start to credits. Though conceptually and scientifically unrealistic at parts, the viewer is pulled into the hopeless abandonment that Bullock is experiencing that ends up making most modern horror films seem silly in comparison.

Sandra Bullock was great in Gravity. The director used something as simple as breathing to draw you in. I was surprised at how it kept the viewer on the edge of their seat. Great suspense!
