Keep in mind this is a live Broadway show captured on film with a story. Superstar casting with Taylor Swift and Jennifer Hudson. Stage and costumes quite creative. Different and entertaining.
Better movie than reviewed. CGI poor. Hooper should never work again, but the movie is worth the cost of admission. If you can ignore the bad CGI, most of the movie is enjoyable.
I am a fan of the stage production and had low expectations going into the movie, but I came out having really enjoyed it! The performances were great and the choreography was beautiful. Don't knock this movie until you've seen it!
Loved it
as a fan of live theatre production of cats the movie did not even get close to the magic of the play. I was ridiculous and poorly acted. Very disappointing.
Loved this movie it is really excellent I think Taylor S should have had a bigger role though. I thoroughly enjoyed it and the movie critics got it all wrong. Loved the music and the dancing it was just amazing. Want to see it again soon
Amazing! The dancing, costumes, set and outstanding cast!!!
Bizarre and horrifying. Definitely NOT a movie for those who have truly lived. Teachers might like it.
My wife and I Ioved this movie. The Cats movie naysayers lack sufficient imagination, appreciation for beautiful dance and music, and recognition of the intimacy of the camera lens, as well as the pageantry of the stage.
What a fun imaginative movie! What's not to like?! Great music, dancing, scenery, costumes, and acting! You just need to enjoy the creativity and fantasy of it... it's a musical after all.
