this movie is a great movie to make you think about the world and how we are spoiled. We think we have it so tough because we have to work two jobs to pay bills etc. when ppl in other less-fortunate countries would do anything jsut for the chance to live here.

Disappointing movie overall. DiCaprio`s laughable South African accent is the worst since Kevin Coster`s English accent in Robin Hood. Leonardo trying the be a "tough guy" action star with all his menacing facial expressions makes this drama excruciatingly difficult to watch. Hounsou and Connelly, however, are top calibre actors who, unfortunately, have to dumb it down to DiCaprio`s level. Save your money and watch it on DVD if you are still curious.
