Black Swan was brilliant, not only was it captivating but it caught the pressures behind being a dancer. The dancing was beautiful and the sets were stunning. I will be getting this movie on blue-ray to add to my collection.

I loved this movie it had the perfect amount of suspense and was really interesting to watch Nina's transformation throughout the movie. Some parts were hard to understand and watching it a second time was helpful.

The story was short and too focused or a single event surrounded but the performance of each character was excellent perfectly capturing the the natural expressions, reflecting the exact tone of emotions, and response level in the found in natural human behavior. And off course, the a different but excellently played character played Natalie Portman is an award winning performance

Portman, Hershey and Kunis did a great job - however, I thought the movie was a bit slow and predictable. Average overall.

Natalie Portman's acting in this movie is superb, riveting, Oscar-worthy! The movie was very dark and at some point the line between reality and paranoia became so blurred it made it very difficult to follow the story. I could not see any reason for audiences to see the pornographic-like scenes, masturbation, sex between the girls etc. The story itself would have stood without this stuff, it just clouded the storyline even more. There needs to be some warning in the ratings about those scenes in case teens wandered into this movie thinking it was about ballerinas. I go to movies to be entertained, not disgusted..scared to look...confused. I am NO prude but this was a good movie spoiled by
