Dark and disturbing...This is not for you if you want a "feel good" movie experience. Well acted.
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Natalie Portman was a stand out and deserves the academy award. Thrilling show throughout
Really interesting movie, but unfortunately a very predictable ending.
Very impressive, Portman and Kunis were unreal.
It's the surrealistic world of ballet with a hint of competitve desire and lust and losing your insanity all at the same time. Our main character Nina is about being "perfect" as the story tells of an audtion that means the world to the ballerina and all others trying for a spot in this tormentive tale. THe director sees the light and darkness of the film as if this were a painting comes alive. The films deals with the insecurties and the struggles as we wonder who the main character is. Part fairy tale gone wrong meeets the insanity for the top. It's beauty and disturbing. We become confused, dazed, startled for the young woman as she goes through the trials of the production literally of
amazing movie! disturbing and fascinating all at the same time....a must see!
Natalie deserves an Oscar! This movie kept not only me on my seat but everyone else in the audience was in "awe" as well. She transformed herself into the character very well. It is not my favorite genera but it was worth seeing!
Though the end was pretty much predictable, it was a good movie overall.
an oscar contender
