Taylor Lautner (The Twilight Saga: New Moon) Interview
Stephenie Meyer's wildly successful "Twilight" novels have become a world-wide phenomenon. When the first book, Twilight, became a movie last year, life as they knew it for its stars changed forever.
Taylor Lautner, who was only 15 when Twilight was shot, played the shy and quiet Jacob. He knew that if he were to continue to play Jacob in the other films, he would have to work really hard. So he stepped it up with an intense eating and workout program and gained over thirty pounds of muscle. The now 17-year-old has a body that athletes would be jealous of. Jacob Black plays prominently in New Moon, and knowing that he would have to have his shirt off for half the film was incentive enough for Taylor to get that rock hard body.
Tribute's Bonnie Laufer spoke to Lautner in Los Angeles about developing his relationship with co-star Kristen Stewart (Bella), getting in shape, finding his inner wolf, and how he is dealing with his newfound fame.
