The trailer for the Netflix series The Kominsky Method opens on Sandy Kominsky (Michael Douglas) and Norman Newlander (Alan Arkin) in a car. Norman is no longer inspired by his job as a talent agent and Sandy, once a famous actor, works as an acting coach. Not only is Norman's wife very sick, but he has to enroll his reluctant 45-year-old daughter in rehab. However, when Norman makes a speech about the human condition in front of Sandy's acting class, he gets applause from the aspiring actors. Maybe there's hope for a happy future for these two.
