Olivier Nakache and Éric Toledano Interview
The Intouchables touched a lot of hearts when it opened in France last year. It has since become the second highest grossing film there and has won many awards and accolades. Based on a true story, it centers around a rich aristocrat (François Cluzet) who becomes a quadriplegic after a paragliding accent. After an extensive search, he hires a young man (Omar Sy) from the projects to be his caregiver. The film is finally being released in English North America and there are even talks of a Hollywood remake starring Colin Firth.
Bonnie Laufer from Tribute spoke with the film's directors, Olivier Nakache and Éric Toledano, about the film.
