In the official trailer for The Disaster Artist, Tommy (James Franco) is told he will not get a break in Hollywood. So Tommy decides to make his own movie by writing a script, directing it and starring in it. He also gives his new friend Greg (Dave Franco) a role in the movie. With not much knowledge about filming, he hires a cast and crew for the movie.
