Matthew Modine has been acting for most of his life. A major star of films, television and live theatre, Modine has had quite a versatile career. So when he heard Christopher Nolan was wrapping up his Batman trilogy, Modine called the director and asked him for a role. His wish came true when Nolan decided to cast him as Deputy Commissioner Foley in The Dark Knight Rises.

Bonnie Laufer from Tribute spoke with Matthew during a promotional stop in Toronto about working on the film, being the new guy on set, working with some of the most talented co-stars in the business and what he has coming up next.
