Clint Eastwood talks about how he was going through the usual casting process for The 15:17 to Paris, auditioning a lot of actors who would have been good in the lead roles, when he finally decided to ask the men who the story is about — Spencer Stone, Anthony Sadler and Alek Skarlatos — whether they would like to play themselves. He reveals that they actually shot the film on a moving train within the confines of the narrow aisles. Finally, Eastwood says because there are so many movies about comic book heroes, that it's fun to do movies about actual heroes.
