The official trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming begins as a group of robbers disguised as Avengers attempt to steal money from a bank. Their mission is thwarted, however, by the arrival of Spider-Man. He easily takes them out and, after the last of the robbers falls to the ground, exclaims, "That was awesome."
The trailer continues by tracing Peter Parker's (Tom Holland) roots. We see him as somewhat of a misfit in high school who happens to be infatuated with a female classmate. But we also see him interact with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). He's attempting to pry information out of Tony about how to become an Avenger. Peter experiments with his superpowers, we watch him scale buildings and soar through the air, and we also catch a glimpse of the villain, known as the Vulture (Michael Keaton). He warns Peter by saying, "Don't mess with me because I will kill you and everybody you love."
