The adventure-filled trailer for Smurfs: The Lost Village begins in the well-known smurf village, a place filled with colorful magic mushroom houses, (some) tight white pants, and every different personality you could imagine. There's the "arty farties" who paint portraits, the "frenemies" who play checkers together, the "worry warts" who "just feel blue" sometimes, the "cranks" with perpetual scowls, the literal "shade throwers," and the "nosies," who shouldn't be given binoculars.
As a "jockie" shows off his "one finger push up," we realize all these smurfs have one thing in common — they're all dudes. Except for one, of course, and that's Smurfette (Demi Lovato). When Smurfette encounters a smurfish-looking critter and finds an ancient map in the Enchanted Forest, she and her friends go on an epic quest to discover the "lost village" where this mysterious creature came from.
