Interview with Geddy Lee & Alex Lifeson (Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage)
Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart are synonymous with Canadian rock and roll. Known simply as Rush, these boys have been rocking the world since the 1970s with hits like “Limelight,” “New World Man,” and “Tom Sawyer” and are nowhere close to hanging up their instruments. In fact, they are currently working on their 20th studio album and are in the middle of a worldwide tour. Their stunning career is chronicled in the new documentary Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage, which recently took home the Tribeca Film Festival’s 2010 Heineken Audience Award. Tribute’s Bonnie Laufer spoke with legendary rockers Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson about the film, being in the spotlight and looking back at their phenomenal career.
