Critics are saying that Bruce Dern is giving the performance of his career in Alexander Payne's Nebraska. Dern plays an aging, booze-addled father who makes the trip from Montana to Nebraska with his estranged son, played by Will Forte, in order to claim a million dollar sweepstakes prize.
