Emily Blunt Interview
Coming off her comedic role in The Five-Year Engagement alongside Jason Segel, Emily Blunt takes on a more serious persona in the sci-fi action flick, Looper, which opened this year’s Toronto International Film Festival. Tribute's Bonnie Laufer had a chance to talk to Emily one-on-one about her phenomenal co-stars, Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The men both actually play the same character in the film, just 30 years part. The story transports audiences to 2072—mob hits are sent 30 years into the past where they’re taken out by “Loopers.” So essentially, Bruce Willis is sent to the past where he faces the threat of being killed by his younger self.
Being a chameleon of sorts, Blunt has played all kinds of characters, which speaks not only to the depth of her talent, but also of her dedication and work ethic. The British star also talks about the movie that changed her life and her opinion of one of the most original scripts she’s ever seen.
