In this trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, we see a flashback to Newt’s time as a student at Hogwarts. He is being taught a spell by Professor Dumbledore in a Defense Against the Dark Arts class. Newt's greatest fear is having to work in an office. We then see Grindelwald being detained and taken to prison. He is seen preaching to his followers: "Magic blooms only in rare souls. Still we must skulk in the shadows. But the old ways serve us no longer." Dumbledore tells Newt that he can't move against Grindelwald – it has to be Newt. We also see a scene in which Dumbledore is looking in the Mirror of Erised, which reflects one's deepest desires, and sees a reflection of Grindelwald.
