In the second official trailer for Despicable Me 3, Gru (Steve Carell) reads a newspaper headline that says Balthazar Bratt (Trey Parker) has stolen a huge diamond. His boss is furious, and tells Gru he is fired. Gru’s daughter, Agnes, takes it upon herself to hold a yard sale to help her unemployed dad. During the yard sale, an official looking man informs Gru he is being requested for a visit by his twin brother Dru (also Steve Carell). Shocked but excited, Gru and his family go to meet his long-lost sibling. The reunion turns out to be a lot more than Gru expected, as the flashy, materialistic Dru quickly gets on his nerves. Dru tells the now-reformed Gru that being a villain is a tradition carried down in their family for centuries, and that they must continue the history. Dru entices Gru to carry out one last heist, which leads to hilarious hijinks.
