In the official trailer for Cars 3, we see legendary racer Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) learning his legacy lies off the racetrack and in merchandising. It’s a startling realization for Lightning that becomes all the more real after a crash during a race. Determined, Lightning wants to continue his racing career on his terms. But getting back into training and back onto the racetrack won’t be easy, especially after a talented new competitor enters the race and tries to steal his thunder.
