Stephen King's best-selling horror novel Carrie gets a big screen re-telling staring Chloë Grace Moretz in the title role and Julianne Moore as her terrifying mother, Margaret White. The book was the first made into a film in 1976 starring Sissy Spacek and it was the role that launched her career. The movie was directed by Brian DePalma who recently said that before directing this new version of the film, Kimberley Pierce came to him for his blessing.
