In the second official trailer for Atomic Blonde, a woman (Charlize Theron) enters a hotel room filled with a handful of men. Through voiceover, she says, "I chose this life and some day it’s going to get me killed… but not today." She then shoots the men with a gun she pulls out of an ice bucket.
The trailer continues to the song "Blue Monday" by Orgy. We learn more about Charlize’s character, Lorraine Broughton, who's revealed to be an expert in intelligence collection and hand-to-hand combat. When an agent who happens to be a former lover of Lorraine's is announced dead, she's tasked with uncovering the people behind the killing and learning more about the "atomic bomb of information" this slain agent had in his possession.
Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus" plays out as the trailer ends with violence, a steamy sex scene, and fast-paced, high-octane action.
