I thought the movie was great. People who didn`t like it obviously don`t know a good movie when they see one. The special effects (including the sounds) were awesome. A little bit of a different stroy line than the original (as far as the characters were concerned) but Steven Speilberg did a great job as did the actors.

The special effects were really good which is usual for Steven Speiberg. It got long in some parts but unfortunatly the ending was sudden. It is worth seeing in the theatres.

It was very good. Not a total remake of the original, but it had a good storyline. Needless to say, the special effects were right on. Tom & Dakota really made the movie; the martians were added for us Si-fi fans. Who are these people that gave this movie 1 star? If you don`t like fiction, stick with reality...

Subtle realism - stunning & brutal impact. It was masterpiece of special effects. Spielberg at his best. Those who miss the point of this movie need to see it again.
