That`s 146 minutes of my life that I`m never going to get back.

Two Cruises are 3 too many.

You don`t have to have a brain to see it, but you do need to enjoy the challenge of having the boundaries of your belief stretched. Went with my best friend; she didn`t like it... I loved it. We both have brains, but she likes her comfortable groove in life... I like to peep up over the sides of the boundaries we are told define us. If you`re the former, save your money. If you`re the latter, spend it and enjoy a good flick!

What a waste of money.

This movie had one of the dumbest endings I have ever seen. It had a lot of potential, but Crowe just let a good thing slip away. Cruise sucked!!!!!

Excellent suspense and social interaction until the "cheezy" L.E. Lucid Dream concept revealed. Must have blown the budget and had to close out filming in a rush. Too bad! Could have been a 4 or 5 star with a bit more imagination and, of course, financing.

A very entertaining film, one of the year`s best. Tom Cruise was great, but Cameron Diaz stole the show.

The story was somewhat convoluted. Which one was Sophia?

Vanilla Sky wasn`t about identifying the stupid and intelligent people among us. Too many people are far too wrapped up in their own control of fate and the things around them. To use the movie`s phrase, "Open Your Eyes", not everything in this world is easily explained or even understood. Open your mind to this movie and the point it tries to make about how simple decisions can make all the difference. It`s sorry to see that a movie that puts down plot lines that sprouted movies like the Matrix, and the Thirteenth floor, is slammed because it doesn`t have enough explosions (like MI2 for our one commenter). Enjoy the movie for what it is
